FD&C water-soluble synthetic colors are dyes designed for food, pharmaceutical and personal care applications such as Soft Drinks and Beverages, Baked Goods, Sauces and Seasonings.

FD&C Lake Pigments, also known as Secondary Colors, are used when water-soluble dyes are not suitable. Lakes are not soluble in water and are ideally used in dry and oil Natural Colors are obtained from a variety of herbs, spices, vegetable and minerals and are used in the food, cosmetics and pharmaceutical industries.

D&C colors are colors specially for the Drug & Cosmetic industries D&C Lakes are used when dyes are not used because of their water solublity issues.

Dispersions are a composition of a range of permitted colors & additives for the confectionery and pharmaceutical industries.

Acid dye is a member of a class of dye that is applied from an acidic solution . The acid used to transfer the dyes is often citric acid or acetic acid. Dying uses for acid dyes include cosmetics, soaps, foods, wool, nylon, silk, knitting wool, leather, hair, fur, metal, inks and other pigments.
